If an artist is hired to execute a vision of the “meme creator,” is the provenance of whoever’s name is on the submission still the same?

i get all this, but I spoke out because artists are upset and afraid to speak out because of long standing bad practices in the NFT space. Those who do are often ostracized. Fine, the card makes its point. But morally it didn’t need to have been hidden, it would have made the card make much more sense from the beginning.
