here we can unleash the tap, keep the curation and network and have a fair and ungameable version of TDH
we have more than 156 things to say each year
that is nothing for our goals
the memes are very strictly 156 pieces per year
there is a wide world out there
we are not going to run out of JPGs/NFTs, I am so not worried about pre-minted pieces
If i were to mint here it would be intentional and just keep my current pieces on my contracts cause provenance
1/ the memes are the pepes contract but 8 years later
2/ stream is the old super-rare shared contract but 8 years later
3/ and federated and independent are variations on manifold etc
they could change the metadata if they have not locked it lol
actually
well
they can't unmint them
they can burn them
This may be a dumb question as I don’t know how other contracts work, but is there the ability for artists to migrate existing unsold pieces on say Manifold to Stream if they so choose?
it is going to work
and for mega ideas, nextgen in both forms
and then if it is truly a small set of people interested and they know exactly who is interested and that is it (5 people, whatever) maybe to federated to lower the network take but still stay in network
and the other supporters will buy the edition
someone will bid up the 1/1
it is a very good structure
i think those will end up on stream/editions
but maybe don't make sense for the global visibility of the memes
because there are tons of ideas that like 5 or 10 or 50 or 200 people may be into because they like the idea or has to do with their town etc etc
i think it is mostly powerful for network initiatives
share with them please
Gm, punk. This is really a revolution for 6529 artists. Great ❤️
you can do whatever you want
not if "you are xcopy" but if you are xcopy none of this matters anyway
self-sovereign contracts are great technically, but very very bad for sales, liquidity, etc
it is more important to them than "TDH fee"
Update: Royalties as with The Memes, split same as primary
yes royalties as with memes, split same as primary
this is exciting and also competitive from a marketplace standpoint. in a way, we are creating a TDH fee but simultaneously giving artists options below superrare if they/their collectors don’t value TDH/the network.
only question would be if there is a royalty structure on secondary sales?
lets creator pick exactly what they want from network
- the style and approach and intensity of The Memes?
- A great 721 or 1155 contract for their piece or collection? but curated
- The same but uncurated but discoverable
- Just the code
All options covered and "priced" imho fairly between creator and network. i think this will open up a lot of possibiltiies
Yes exactly
Oh wow! So basically more options and you can choose what to do. Also, i. cases keeps Memes as Memes and allows all art types to be represented. From a quick read. (Sorry at work atm)

i think we got it
**6529 Stream and 6529 Editions**
1. It has taken me a long time to get it clear in my head, but I have finally figured out what I think is the right answer. I think I have a solution that solves everything at once. and allows us to finish all our NFT-related infrastructure
2. **6529 Stream** will be our flagship 1/1 (ERC-721) contract that will support sub-collections.
1. The model will be that you submit to Main Stage and if you reach (X) millions of TDH for 24 hours straight, you can choose to trigger an auction, starting at 0, for the work to be minted on Stream in a general or sub-collection, as opposed to The Memes
2. I envision this today in the range of 5M to 10M TDH, rising over time.
3. The idea is not to judge it as per "is this ideal for The Memes" but "is this a legitimate piece of work"
4. I can see this also as our documentation engine for the network - e.g. important activities or decisions can be memorialized here. Right now some of them make it to The Memes but they may be better here. In any case, it should be more open than The Memes.
3. **6529 Editions** is a linked contract to 6529 Stream where you can optionally as a creator decide to make available an 1155 edition of the same piece minted to 6529 Stream. In that case, there will be a 1/1 on Stream and a 1/x on Editions and both get auctioned.
Auctions in all cases start at 0. These are ongoing documentation / network "stream of consciousness" contracts. They are not a place for works to hang around unminted. We should not have to make any pricing decisions. The market will sort this out for us.
4. The main idea here is that The Memes are not suited for all pieces and anyway there are only 156 spots a year and for sure we have more than 156 pieces of interesting content we want to mint that may be of interest to at least one collector/buyer.
They can also be used for specific initiatives "do something" cards that are of narrower interest to a subgroup of all of us
5. *"I like the contract, I want to be linked to the 6529 Ecosystem but I want my own specific contract with my art presented by itself"* - We have you covered there too. We will offer federated stream and federated editions and federated nextgen. they are independently deployed versions of the same contracts linked by a registry only and not passed through a TDH hurdle. TDH can only be used to delink them if they are inappropriate
6. *"I like all this but want to do my own thing"* - no problem, the contracts are Apache 2.0 (open-source), you can deploy on your own and do what you like and have nothing at all to do with the network
7. Stream and Edition accrue TDH (as well as NextGen). Federated and unlinked do not
8. TDH accrues as follows:
1. Each week 20% of the TDH rate of that week's meme cards (so always 60% of 1 meme card e.g 3 * 20%) is allocated to all Stream, Editions and NextGen pieces minted in that week combined.
2. The allocation of TDH rate to each piece happens based on total amount of ETH received by the network for that piece (network share) divided by the total for the week. This will naturally account for hot and cold periods in the markets.
3. If we did not include a "real-cost" hurdle like this, it would be farmed so we do not want to incent low quality mints for TDH farming. And we would get into endless arguments about the right number of editions, right price, and so on. We can simply avoid all of that.
9. I have closed the old Stream repo and rebuilt it on these lines. Will share in the coming days.
10. My working model/proposal/summary of the parameters of each contract type is below as a chart. Click to expand and read.
11. All the above / below I will think about a bit more, listen to feedback and so on before finalizing but I think this finally works. and will be live this year

going to also change the load balancers that currently allow TLS 1.0/1.1 to go to 1.2+
I think ok?
i will bump
AFAIK we are currently on Free plan. Which is limited to 20 concurrent jobs. If we'd move to Team plan then we'd pay $4 per seat and the concurrency limit would be 60. We have currently claimed 12 seats which would amount to almost 50$ per month. Not sure if everyone who currently has repository seat still needs it though (img of current seatholders attached)
This would be the easiest way to get new capacity.
There might be optimisations also. To use runners more optimally. But I think we'll hit the free plan wall sooner or later when we keep adding new stuff.

what do you think?
rapidly decreasing inflationary, it taps out soonish
TDH is inflationary so It becomes harder to maintain that percent as adoption grows
manageable
Any idea of bandwidth usage?
it is ok
understood, will keep it here 🙏 heads up: my contribute now thread went out at 12:20 before your note. posts 7–9 quote the november alpha, the spec table and the geography. happy to delete those three if you’d rather they come down: https://x.com/lastbubble2035/status/2110405269100400644?s=20
