maybe that is cleaner and more transparent, TBD

that's better...on chain commitment
if we get thsi right
and that will be done
i feel there is a million things that can be done

so you could also make an unruggable version. we could have in principle a smart contract that gets attached to your profile that does not allow transfers or sales for forever or for a period of time
you put a Meme Card there, you assign the shadow TDH to (some other NFTs), you continue to get the benefits of owning that meme card (TDH, AL, consensus benefits) but you can't sell or transfer (and rug the shadow TDH)
those NFTs
and then assign the shadow TDh to that
drop them a first 100 NFT
so if they are first 100
i would do "line" stuff by issuing them NFTs for the various things you want
i think this will be hard to decentralize, needs to be an onchain primitive like "owns an NFT" so we can index it

@[punk6529] would this example use case aligned to what you're intending
Shadow TDH for artists on The Line
- Upload pfp 5 Shadow TDH per day
* upload genesis collection 20 Shadow TDH per day
* Put The Line listing in 6529.io bio 5 Shadow TDH per day
* Completely fill art on The Line 1x vote into Stream for a 1/1
Shadow TDH Boost for first 100 artists on The Line 2x
Shadow TDH Boost for first 1000 artists on The Line 1.25
no i do not understand this. you mint a 1/1. you have a meme card that generates 10 TDH per day, you say I am staking so that the 1/1 generates 10 TDH per day. the person who owns it gets 10 TDH per day. if they sell the 1/1, they lose it. if you unstake the meme card, they also lose it

Does this create a situation where you could buy shadow TDH off market and have people allocate it to a asset you own?
in principle we can also make it irreversible
same rules as TDH in the memes obviously

Also this may have been discussed but if shadow TDH is allocated to an asset; is it then transferable with that asset or is it destroyed when the asset changes hands ? if not does this make it less sybil resistant ? (ie you can buy up a whole lot of shadow TDH at once?)
and let people go experiment in 100 different directions
where as here we can have a tight focused protocol
is going to be very stressful
leaving complex decisions to a large group of people where core protocol issues worth maybe billions or tens of billions of USD at stake
remember my goal is to decentralize
i think it is also much more scalable long-term
but the actual meme card or gradient
not just the person
like this, the 1/1 should be showing where the TDH or shadow TDH or linked TDH is coming from

That’s more interesting.
So if I released “the original” OMbuidling as a 1/1, I could tie the TDH I get from The OMbuidling meme in my wallet?
so that it is clear it is deriving from somewhere else
somehow
it needs to show as "shadow" or "linked" TDH
i think it is solvable with good UI

I think my concern may be solvable with interfaces/UI and totally fine at the protocol level. In your Arsonic example, my concern is basically:
1) Collector buys that 1/1 and gets some shadow TDH.
2) Maybe they also buy some things from other artists and get bits of shadow TDH from them as well.
3) They now have a pool of shadow TDH that they start doing things with in the ecosystem.
4) That shadow TDH can suddenly drop at some point, due to no action on their part, if any of the dependent staked TDH from the original artists gets unstaked
5) They will probably be confused about what happened to their shadow TDH
But again, maybe solvable at the UI layer and totally fine
this sounds like fun
but if some subset of us want to do something 6529 related on Shape and tie shadow TDH to it

and we are not ready yet for it
and we are not ready yet for it
but making a broad network wide decision is a big deal
and I want to do something on Shape
@[bonafidehan] is always asking me "when are you going to do something on Shape"
and it is much more scalable this way
without saying "you have to buy one of our memes"
to bring other people in
I think it is very nice way
outside of 6529
but if @[intrepid] does it for his collectors
the protocol needs to be aligned as it is
it breaks the protocol
and if the protocol does it
a lot of people over time told me "but why don't you give TDH to punks or bayc or xcopy holders"
I think there is another interesting benefit here
there are two different points here but I want to say that Stream is meant to be higher volume than the emems

I prefer the idea of being able to allocate shadow TDH to any contract ; rather than running it all via Stream . As this would better preserve provenance imo. Stream quickly becomes like the OS storefront contract if everyone is minting everything to it
he does 1/1 NFTs Sgt Pepe outside of The Memes
outside of NextGen
he is doing a generative drop now
I can easily imagine @[arsonic] doing it to integrate his whole universe under one umbrella
