TDH is the only thing that matters but the only reason TDH is a good metric is because the whole system was designed to make TDH a good metric. AL is a tool to make TDH work

where in principle if you are high enough in TDH to be able to get into P0 even if split in two, you can trade off neutral to lower TDH for more AL spots
now we need to address the question of high TDH non-full set
so with #1, if you have a full set your incentive is to consolidate because you get the same number of AL spots and more TDH
so i do not want to full myself/ourselves that we are doing things when they are trivially fakeable
you have just described (correctly) a trivial way a high TDH holder can take one of the spots for "new collector" by simply having another wallet

Yep. This also. But isn’t that theoretically the main reason for preferential treatment to latest Szns? Asking this as a question. Been our assumption.

now in the new adjusted #1, I also get 3 AL and higher TDH
just the TDH split issue remains

It’s a combination of both these things.
So 1 wallet which is in top 100/200, and another wallet which has last 2 szn full sets. It’s better for them to be split from a third wallet which has 1 or more full sets.

So, if you simulate 2.b.ii for one full set in one wallet, and then one full set split - 1 wallet with most TDH, and 1 wallet where the last 2 snzs are kept.
so one uses this set up for the whole of current szn. There are 3 spots in most cases, then 2 spots.

yes. and also for the case you have in the doc for multiple full sets. after one full set, there are incentives to split on other full sets.

Incentives to split will largely come given no disincentive to later reconsolidate. e.g. for high profile drops, if chasing AL, I can always later decide to reconsolidate. Same for boosts.
Currently keeping the latest sets in separate wallets is better. it helps with multiple AL. Some ALs from the main TDH wallet, and some ALs from the latest szn set wallets.
And when all TDH needed in one wallet, I can reconsolidate later whenever.
So if there’s a limit to how many times one can reconsolidate later, it might be better overall for long run.
