it will be lost 1-2 days from now, let alone 1 month or 6 years from now

and the actual voted proposals are the "board decisions/minutes" equivalent

like this chat should be the board meeting discussion

this is what we should do also

"the board considered the matter presented by @[blocknoob] and decided to defer it because of xyz reason" is something a normal org would do

and vote that in formally

is that we find a way to write to capture the discussion we just had

interesting question: I would not want any physical art now because "where are we going to put it" -> I defer to the future the question of "will we have physical art later"

so you will see me propose some general ones like this where you will say "duh, obviously" but I dunno, when you form a company or a non profit or any other organization you sign a bunch of things that are very "duh" obviously but anyway it is correct that you do them

if this is the mechanism by which we make decisions, we should "paper" or ha ha ha "blockchain" all decisions including the ones that are implicit or I just discussed in @[maybe] bar I am trying to imagine that at the moment this group was formed, there were no formal decisions made for the 6529 Network Museum and trying to think what decisions would need to be made and so, in principle, the decision of if we are collecting generative art and NFT 1/1s vs stamps and coins and statues, presumably should be made formally

up to you, but I think I am a "later" not "now" voter on this

this requires us putting on our big boy and big girl pants on and looking ourselves by the standards of "is this the level of seriousness the MoMA would put into curation"

that it is the defining cultural institution of this on-chain era

i want the goals high for the 6529 Network Museum

and go try to win an away match for a change

saying them to people who already believe them

of things we all already believe

and for normies to wnat to come in (I don't know if they should be in or not, but for them to want to) it should be 'hard' for non-art projects to come in

with the extra 'wow' that it is owned by nobody etc etc

and these initiatives are ways to do that

that is currently in no way reflected in the network

in and around this group

we have a deep set of knowledge about the more art side of NFTs

this is what I would like to try if it were up to me

this is an opportunity to show off a different side of the house

and so without having to change what we do at our core

and is incomprehensible/fake to other types of people

and that appeals to a certain type of person
